SCTKD Policies

Club insurance is accessed through the BTC (British Taekwon do council) which is the national governing body for Taekwon do in Great Britian. 

All members have insurance to train which is renewed annually. 

Instructors have additional indeminity insurance, which is again renewed yearly. 

Our safeguarding policies are guided by the BTC, with Mrs Collett being the safeguarding lead for the club. These policies are accssible via the button below.

Instructors attend regular training and refresher courses to ensure they are up to date with any changes to government policy, procedure and advice.

Instructors at SCTKD are all DBS checked - as per the requirements set out by the BTC

All our instructors are First Aid Qualified with a minimum of Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.

All our sessions are run in accordance with a risk assessment. Written risk assessments are kept for each venue and updated as conditions in the venues change.
